Weekend Wine Spectator Giveaway!

Happy Friday!  It's sunny and warm outside and I cannot begin to describe how excited I am for the weekend.  Tomorrow, I have a doggie beach date with some former coworkers.  The rest of the weekend I just plan on relaxing and enjoying the sun and laughing at my March Madness picks.

Mini Lemon Poppy Seed Muffins
Can you tell I'm in a good mood?  In the hopes of putting you in a good mood as well, I've decided to do a weekend giveaway!  One lucky reader will receive a year subscription to Wine Spectator....a $49.95 value for those counting :)  I've always loved this magazine since I enjoy wine, but can't really say I'm any type of vino expert.  Having good wine recommendations when heading into the store always helps save me from wasting money on "eh" wine.

How to Enter:

• US Residents only (sorry my international friends)

• Leave a comment telling me your favorite bottle of wine

Extra entries (leave a separate comment for each):

• For an extra entry, become a Twitter follower or let me know you already are following my mindless babble

• For another extra entry, become a Google Friend (click "join this site" in the right sidebar)

• For another extra entry, tweet about this giveaway using this link: http://bit.ly/bnRrMr

Entries due Monday, March 22nd at 9PM Pacific.  Good luck!
*This contest is not sponsored by any parties. Winner chosen by random.org

My go to bottle is Oliver Soft Red (an Indiana staple). Nothing fancy, inexpensive, but so so good when you're home alone on a Friday night.
Also, tried to follow you on twitter but your updates are protected.

Wow-love this giveaway. Was a little sad you weren't tempting me with a delicious recipe in this post, but the wine bottle made me equally happy! Best bottle of wine ever Luzon (Jamilla) it won best buy in Wine Enthusiast a few yrs back. So good and about 7.99 a bottle!

My favorite bottle of wine ever was a Sangiovese blend that we had at our wedding. Unfortunately, I didn't write down the name & will most likely never have it again!

I love wine generally but have a serious passion for bubbles, so a true vintage Champagne takes the cake for me! Great giveaway!

I just recently have gotten into reds and now I only drink red wine. I love Terre d'Oro's Zinfandel which ranges from $15-20.

I received my first bottle of this wine as a gift. It was a 2005Cabernet Sauvignon from Ehlers Estate and it was so smooth and full of body but not too complicated. I also had the opportuity to tour the winery this past fall and the people and the history only made me love it more.

My fav has got to be Evolution from Sokol Blosser. Goes great with seafood and most Asian food!
